Choosing the right paint color can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to consider light, existing finishes, furniture, and the overall feeling you want from a space.

Our color consultations are designed to bring clarity to that process. Whether in person or virtual, we’ll work together to understand your space, explore inspiration, and narrow in on a palette that feels intentional, cohesive, and true to your home.

After the consultation, you’ll receive a personalized color deck with curated paint options, placement recommendations, finish suggestions, and visual inspiration to help guide your project with confidence.

How it Works

What is a Color Consultation?

A color consultation is a collaborative design session, either in person or virtual, where we discuss your space, goals, inspiration, and the overall look and feel you want to create through paint.

Before Your Appointment

Before we meet, we will gather details about your space, color preferences, and any inspiration images you’d like to share. From there, we will create a starting mood board and initial color direction to help guide our conversation during the consultation.

During Your Appointment

During the appointment we will review your space, inspiration, lighting, existing finishes, and overall vision. Together, we’ll narrow in on paint colors, finishes, and placement recommendations that feel cohesive and intentional.

After Your Appointment

We will provide color samples for the colors we narrowed in on during the consult so that you can test them in your space — either directly on the wall or on large sample sheets. This allows you to live with the colors throughout the day, see how they respond to natural and artificial light, and feel confident before making a final decision.

Once a color direction is finalized, we’ll provide your completed color deck with recommended paint colors, finishes, placement notes, and overall direction for your project.

Color Consultation

For interior and exterior paint consultations, please complete the form with details about your space, color preferences, and a few photos of the area you’d like to update.

Based on your submission, we’ll create a personalized mood board and color deck featuring three to five curated paint options, along with recommendations for placement, finishes, and overall direction.

Each consultation deck includes:

  • Inspirational reference images

  • Coordinating paint swatches in varying tones

  • Suggested paint placement

  • Recommended paint finishes

Pricing

  • Single color consultation: $200

    • Includes one interior room or one exterior consultation.

  • Additional rooms: $100 per room

Once your submission has been reviewed, we’ll reach out to schedule a consultation time that works for you and gather any additional details we may need about your project. Ahead of the consultation, an invoice will be sent to the email address provided.

If you choose to move forward with painting services through us, the consultation fee will be credited toward your painting project.
